The Abstract® Brush N' Color collection: Land Of The Rising Sun was inspired by the mystical culture of Japan. Japan is much more than just the colourful Nishigoi carp. It is located to the east of China and was named after the Chinese expression "land of the rising sun" by Japanese scholars who had studied Chinese. The typical traditional Japanese red gates, called Torii, symbolise the stick on which the cock sits and summons the sun with its crowing. The lifestyle and the way of thinking and acting, is strongly influenced by Shintoism. Typical for the Shinto religion is the great love and respect for nature and the prayer for the nature spirits, Kami. Unlike in our Western culture, there are several Kami and they are not connected to a fixed place or object.

Land Of The Rising Sun is a beautiful red Cat Eye Effect Gel Polish range because in Eastern culture red is associated with happiness and joy. Something that the red Cat Eye Effect shades will definitely lend a hand in! They are all Cat Eye Effect Gel Polishes that can be used with or without a magnet and as a colour in itself. The darker shade, Kami, is a beautiful purple shade that can also be used as a colour on its own, but also as a base for the Cat Eye Effect Gel Polish colours. Ganbatte!

Instructions for using the cat eye effect: Harden the first layer and apply a second layer. Hold the cat eye magnet above the gel until the desired design is achieved. Hardens.

Sanitize your hands and your client's hands with Antisepta Spray or Clean & Fresh Watermelon Spray.
Push back the cuticles using the Pro Pusher Maxi or Spoon Pusher.
File the nails into the desired shape using a 180 grit file.
Remove the calloused or loose skin with a 180 grit file or with the Cuticle Clean Up Drill Bit.
Remove the shine from the natural nail with a 180 grit file or with the Diamond Cone Medium Drill Bit.
Apply PH Nail Prep (for normal nail plates) or PH Nail Scrub (for moist nail plates) exclusively to the natural nails.
Let it dry.

APPLY BASE COAT

Apply a thin layer of S-Gel Crystal Clear (for normal nail plates), Rubber Base Gel (for oily or moist nail plates), or Rubber Base & Build Crystal Clear (for spoon-shaped or ridged nails) over the entire nail plate. Massage it in carefully.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Remove the sticky layer from the surface and free edge with a dry, lint-free Spongie.
Apply a thin layer of Brush N' Color Gel Polish. Always start by sealing the free edge followed by the surface.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Apply a second thin layer of Brush N' Color Gel Polish. Start again by sealing the free edge followed by the surface.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Apply Abstract® Top Gel: Shield & Shine (for light or neon colors) or Gloss & Shine (for red, dark, and earthy tones).
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Finish with Cuticle Conditioner and a soothing hand massage using Hand & Body Lotion.

Ensure that the artificial nail surface is roughened with a 180 grit file and is dust-free.
Apply a thin layer of Stick 2 Base. Massage it in carefully.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Remove the sticky layer from the surface and free edge with a dry, lint-free Spongie.
Apply a thin layer of Brush N' Color Gel Polish. Always start by sealing the free edge followed by the surface.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Apply a second thin layer of Brush N' Color Gel Polish. Start again by sealing the free edge followed by the surface.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Apply Abstract® Gloss & Shine Top Gel.
Cure under a 36-watt lamp. LED: 60 sec | UV: 120 sec.
Finish with Cuticle Conditioner cuticle oil and a soothing hand massage using Hand & Body Lotion.
